Norse Hawk

The axe above is from Cold Steel and is called the Norse Hawk.  It has been modified from the way it was purchased.  The was a black paint on it that was stripped with oven cleaner. The handle a bit of wax on it so that was cleaned off and a kind of checkered designed was dremeled into the handle.  It looked kind of strange that way and the checkers didn't come out exactly as planned.  The dark color of the Norse Hawk is from a butane hand torch which came out pretty cool.

The Norse Hawk is produced to be a replica of Norse hatchet. Which norseaxman.com finds very cool!
