The original thought was that the site keeps as little as possible information on anyone who visits the site. Which is still the case. The page was originally just an email link in case of questions. Well it turns out that doing it that way is a huge magnet for email SPAM on the site email address. So it was switched to an email form which is suppose to help out with the SPAM.
Privacy Information
This site is mostly a way to write semi humorous things about a topic that is interesting. The site does not really want your information. That being said to make the site work correctly there is some basic cookie settings that needs to be enabled. The site tries to keep it to a minimum and is collecting aggregate not identifiable information. This section is a work in progress to make it more complete.
Links to Other Sites
Most of the information on norseaxman.com is from information found on other places on the internet. Wikipedia, Axe manufacturer websites, other axe related website, a surprising amount from Google Translate and other foreign dictionary type sites. Some of the sites look pretty legit, others look like semi sketchy. Since we are not dealing with state secrets and are just having fun we are not worried about 100% accurate information. We just hope you might learn something and it might be funny. Right away norseaxman.com did not link any sites, not because it was trying to steal credit but because we did not know if it was appropriate. It turns out it is good for the site to have external links. So articles will generally going forward there will be links from where the information was found. Legit site or not. Again do not use norseaxman.com in a term paper.
